The Alter Eagles are an experienced, authentic Eagles tribute band. Formed in 2003, they perform the whole repertoire of Eagles tracks, from tasteful country rock – complete with full harmonies – through to hard rocking numbers, showcasing the Eagles’ trademark duelling electric guitars. The current set comprises material from 35 years of Eagles’ performances, up to and including 2007’s Long Road Out Of Eden.
Lauded for their accuracy, the Alter Eagles are a tribute to the Eagles, pure and simple and in a typical two hour set play many of the band’s greatest hits, including ‘Hotel California’, ‘Desperado’, ‘Life In The Fast Lane’, ‘How Long’, ‘Lyin’ Eyes’, ‘Take It Easy’ and ‘One Of These Nights’. The Alter Eagles are: Jay Stezaker (guitars, vocals) Steve McCormack (guitars, vocals) Alan Tomkins (keys, guitars, vocals) Mike Bradley (guitars) and Rob Beattie (bass, vocals).
Tickets £19.50 in advance and £25 on the door.
Please note there are no physical tickets for this concert. When you book online your name is added to an attendee list that is used at the venue on the night of the performance.
This Grade I listed church, which dates from the mid 13th Century, overlooks the street in the centre of our village. The medieval architecture provides a spectacular backdrop to our musical events. The chancel contains an internationally famous collection of medieval brasses commemorating the de Cobham family.
The church is open daily during daylight hours and is well worth a visit in its own right together with the adjacent medieval College which was built by the de Cobham for the priests, who were appointed to say masses for the family members buried in the church.
